From 17 to 22 May, the Association organized industry experts to carry out a special assessment of leadership at the State Nuclear Power Demonstration Plant.

This was the Association’s first industry-level assessment of leadership for nuclear safety. The assessment team consisted of frontline experts with a strong theoretical background and extensive practical experience in leadership development.

Guided by the Guidelines for Leadership Development and Assessment in Nuclear Power Plants (T-CNEA 178-2024), the team systematically evaluated the leadership development in nuclear safety in the relevant production departments of the State Nuclear Power Demonstration Plant. This was achieved through questionnaires, interviews, behavioral observations and document reviews. The team then identified good practices and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for enhancement.
