According to the reports from the Institute of Nuclear Energy Safety Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences (“Nuclear Safety Institute”) on April 5 that the new fuel assembly and cladding materials developed by the advanced nuclear power research team of the Institute have addressed the key technical problems existing in lead-based reactor core material, while providing technical support for the development of other liquid metal-cooled reactor fuels.
