International seminar opens in Suzhou
Aiming at the China’s booming nuclear power sector, a three-day international seminar on welding and non-destructive examination in NPPs opened in Suzhou, China on June 29 2009.
This seminar was co-hosted by China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) and China Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute of CGNPC, supported by Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute Co., Ltd, with over 180 professionals from more than 70 organizations attending this meeting.
Invited by the organizers, 13 foreign experts from USA, UK, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Spain and other countries provided presentations.
Mr. Xu Yuming, the CNEA’s deputy secretary-general attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
