From February 21st to 25th, 2022, the “First Training Seminar for Nuclear Power Operation Peer Review Team Leaders” hosted by the Nuclear Power Operation Branch (referred to as the “Branch”) of the China Nuclear Energy Association (. CNEA) and organized by Huaneng Shandong Shidaowan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Weihai City, Shandong Province. 16 trainees with senior management and senior technical experience from various  organizations participated in this training seminar. This activity also received strong support from the State Nuclear Power Demonstration Power Plant Co., Ltd. The trainees all said that through this training seminar, they had a deeper understanding of the content of peer review, and the responsibilities and requirements as a team leader,  laying a good foundation for further participation in peer review activities and eventually improving the effectiveness of peer review for the nuclear industry.
