On March 22-23, 2022, the first civil nuclear safety equipment welding engineer training class (advanced class) sponsored by the China Nuclear Energy Association was successfully held by online video. 75 trainees from 46 enterprises and institutions including nuclear power, engineering, construction and installation, and equipment manufacturing participated in the training. This training course invited 7 senior experts in the industry to serve as teachers. After careful planning, courses such as the application and difference analysis of RCC-M and ASME standards in welding, new technologies for nuclear power welding, and welder qualification standards were arranged. Through the explanation of international standards and advanced technologies, the sharing of practical  cases, exchanges and discussions and answering questions, the understanding of civil nuclear safety equipment welding engineers on relevant standards have been expanded, and their knowledge has been enriched.
