On April 18, local time, the K3 unit in Karachi, Pakistan, the fourth unit in the world and the second unit overseas for the China's independently developed third-generation nuclear power plant  "Hualong No. 1 ", successfully completed the provisional check upon delivery. So far, the two units of the first overseas project of "Hualong No. 1" have fully completed construction and put into operation. The construction of the Karachi nuclear power plant has witnessed the continuous deepening of the strategic cooperation between China and Pakistan, and has set a benchmark for nuclear energy cooperation on a global scale and the use of nuclear energy to drive social development.
