On 29 May 2024, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) officially approved the organization and conduct of four national contests proposed by the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEIA) through the issuance of Notice of the MOHRSS [2024] No. 41. The approved contests focus on critical skills in the nuclear energy sector, including non-destructive testing of nuclear equipment, inspection and maintenance of low and medium voltage distribution equipment in nuclear power plants, inspection and maintenance of water pumps in nuclear power plants, and inspection and maintenance of nuclear-grade valves.

The CNEIA is currently preparing for these prestigious events according to a detailed plan. The aim is to complete the final rounds of all the contests by November of the same year. The Association will soon publish the official notices and details of the contests on its official website, inviting interested parties and participants to stay tuned for updates.
