On 29 August, the 4th Nationwide Contest on Vocational Skills for Nuclear-grade Valve Maintenance, a prestigious event in China’s nuclear industry, concluded successfully. The three-day event involved 60 contestants from 20 teams representing four major nuclear power groups in China.

The individual first prizes were awarded to Dong Dongsheng from Yangjiang Nuclear Power Company, Hu Yinlong from China Nuclear Power Operation Technology Corporation, and Wang Wei from Fuqing Nuclear Power Company. Five contestants, including Yu Yuan, were honored with second prizes, while seven individuals, including Chen Gaohua, received third prizes for their commendable performance.

The CNNC Team 3, represented by the Fuqing Nuclear Power team, won the team championship. The CGN Team 4, represented by the Yangjiang Nuclear Power and Taishan Nuclear Power teams, secured the second place. CGN Nuclear Power Operations team, representing CGN Team 1, was honored with the third place. CGN Nuclear Power Operations received the Outstanding Contribution Award. Individuals and teams who excelled in the contest, as well as outstanding evaluators and workers, were recognized and commended at the event.
