On 4 December 2024, Shen Yanfeng, President of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and his team visited the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) for a working exchange. Cao Shudong, Executive Vice President of CNEA, held discussions with Shen Yanfeng and his team, focusing on leveraging their respective strengths to enhance cooperation and support each other’s work.

Cao Shudong emphasized that CNEA will fully utilize its platform and resources to serve national strategies, government management, industry development and members’ needs, and provide high-quality services and support. He expressed the hope that the two organizations will further deepen their cooperation to jointly promote the high-quality development of the nuclear power industry.

Shen Yanfeng said that CNNC will continue to support the development of the Association, strengthen communication and exchanges, and work together to build a community of shared future for the safe development of nuclear power, promoting its safe, efficient and sustainable growth.
