On 15 January, the Secretariat of the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) held its 2025 Working Conference. The meeting reviewed the progress made in 2024, acknowledged outstanding achievements and outlined key tasks and priorities for 2025.  

The conference stressed the importance of adhering to Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and carrying out the important decisions and directives of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.  

Participants were urged to work towards building a world-class association, focusing on quality improvement and upgrading initiatives, and promoting performance management through innovation. The conference urged all leaders and staff to gain a clear understanding of the new challenges and tasks, maintain the right direction, continue to innovate and strive to make greater contributions to the safe, efficient and sustainable development of China’s nuclear power sector.
