On 28 July, ISO 23225:2025, Corrosion Control Engineering Life Cycle in Nuclear Power Plants — General Requirements, was officially released. The Materials Engineering Technology Centre of Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute Co., Ltd led and formulated this standard.

It is the first international standard in the nuclear power field to be successfully developed and released by China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN).

To date, the CGN Suzhou Institute has achieved excellent results in the field of international standards. Among the standards that have been released, it has:

- led the development of one standard;

- jointly led the development of two standards;

- participated in the development of two standards.

It is also jointly leading the development of another standard.
