On September 14, the China Nuclear Energy Association released the Blue Book of China Nuclear Energy Development Report (2022). By the end of August 2022, China has 53 commercial nuclear power units with a total installed capacity of 55.59 million kilowatts, 23 nuclear power units under construction with a total installed capacity of 24.19 million kilowatts, and the nuclear scale of total capacity under construction continues to lead the world. The proportion of nuclear power generation in China's current electric power structure has reached about 5%, a significant increase from about 2% a decade ago.
