On September 4, 2022,a major progress was made in the construction of the main project of  Beishan Underground Laboratory of China. The first major equipment of the project construction, the world's first large slope spiral tunnel hard rock roadheader, has been developed and will be launched in the near future. The equipment, named "Beishan No.1", will be used  in the ramp construction of Beishan Underground Laboratory in China, providingtechnical equipment solutions for building an internationally advanced and world-class underground laboratory.
