On 3 November, the 2025 China-France Symposium on Nuclear Power was held in Paris. Organized jointly by the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) and the French Nuclear Industry Association (GIFEN), the event brought together almost 50 representatives from both countries. Cao Shudong, CNEA Executive Vice President, delivered the opening address.

Specialists from the following companies led discussions on AI-enabled manufacturing, small modular reactors, and nuclear power plant maintenance: Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group; the Nuclear Power Institute of China; China Nuclear Power Operations Co., Ltd.; China Nuclear Operation & Maintenance Technology Co., Ltd.; the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA); EDF; Framatome; ONET Technologies; and Hexana.
